The purpose of TSG is to conduct the business of student government in accordance with the articles set forth in the TSG Constitution and Bylaws, administer TSG funds, advocate student concerns to the Thunderbird students, faculty, staff, and administration (Hereinafter known as the “Thunderbird Community”) and organize campus-wide events(further explained below). The responsibilities of the TSG include but are not limited to the following: 1. Administer TSG funds a) Directly through TSG activities and, b) Indirectly through student led clubs 2. To serve and represent the Thunderbird community 3. For the purpose of directing and enhancing the goals of Thunderbird as they relate to student activities. a) Facilitate communication between Thunderbird faculty, staff, and students regarding issues of interest to the student body 4. Advocate for the general student body regarding issues of concern 5. Organize Campus Wide Events: a) DEI Events b) CMC c) Culture/Regional Night d) Promoting Thunderbird Events e) Managing Club Events f) Bringing in performers for the events
