Overview

TAIFWE is a charitable nonprofit dedicated to supporting domestic violence organizations, shelters, and other charities. Our primary goal is to serve as a financial contributor to these groups, and we accomplish this by donating high-quality art pieces from our inventory to be auctioned off at their fundraising events. We currently have an inventory of 70 pieces of art, most of which are signed and stamped by the artist and have a high gloss resin finish. Going forward, all art contributions will be accompanied by binding agreements outlining the sale proceeds split of artwork, with 30% returning to TAIFWE for its own charitable operational costs. In addition to our financial contributions, we also aim to create a platform for sharing stories of triumph over domestic violence. Our website will serve as a hub for educational statistics, real-life scenarios, and encouraging messages of hope. I, as the founder of TAIFWE, have a personal tie to the DV community through the memory of my sister Millicent, who was once in an abusive relationship. This motivates me to create a space where others can share their experiences and educate themselves on the issue. Finally, we are developing a service program to raise the self-esteem and empowerment of domestic violence victims. We have partnered with an established Inspirationalist who will conduct brief but effective interventions with victims via cellular video conference. These interventions will be structured as boots-on-the-ground type responses to repairing the broken self-value of those who feel shattered by abuse. We are dedicated to serving those who need it most and believe that this collaboration will provide the redemptive responses that are critically necessary for healing.
