Overview
UniSC's Thompson Institute is world-class hub for mental health research, education and clinical services. The Institute is already at the forefront of research for some of Australia’s most pressing mental health issues, including dementia, suicide prevention, post-traumatic stress disorder and youth mental health. Our integrated practice ensures efficient translation of research breakthroughs into clinical practice, which delivers improved outcomes for people with mental health disorders. Such advances will not only improve lives but will also reduce the economic impact of mental health issues for our region.
