Overview

Thes Gala is a dairy cooperative established in 2011 by farmers and producers in Thessaly. The Cooperative supplies its fresh milk to the largest dairy industries currently operating in Greece. Thes Gala has introduced the innovation of Automated Vending Machines in urban centres (Larissa, Athens and Thessaloniki), constantly expanding its network, and making its fresh milk directly available to consumers within 24 hours from its production. Evolving its scheme, the Cooperative has become the first ‘umbrella’ of Cooperatives and local producers in Greece by distributing Greek products at its 'Thes Gala Plus' stores. Thes Gala builds upon synergies throughout the whole range of local communities. The Cooperative has created new jobs harnessing scientific potential and actively promoting external collaborations.
