Guests, complaining at the reception about bedbug bites or even leaving negative reviews/comments on web portals, can gravely damage the reputation of a hotel. It does not matter if there is a bed bug infestation in a premium hotel, a budget hotel, a hostel or a youth hostel. Bed bugs benefit from worldwide tourism, as they travel as stowaways in the luggage of guests and thus spreading from hotel to hotel and from room to room. Due to our reliable and non-toxic heat treatment in which the affected room will be heated to 55-60 ° C for approx. 24-48 hours, we are able to kill bed bugs at all stages of development. Therefore, you will quickly be able to reuse your room. Depending on the size of the room, treatment will take 2 to 3 days. Post-treatments such as those necessary when using toxic insecticides, are eliminated. Successful heat treatment requires good preparation. To prevent bed bugs from escaping and infesting neighboring/adjacent rooms, it is necessary that door, window and all wall openings are sealed. Socket outlets, light switches and cable ducts behind which bed bugs like to hide are dismantled and pictures are hung. Electrical appliances are taken from the net but remain in the room as they are a popular hiding place and are not damaged by our gentle treatment. All necessary steps of our preparation are/will be documented in our checklist. The temperature will be recorded during the treatment with 2 to 4 data loggers. During the whole time, on-site inspections will take place. After completing the treatment you will receive all corresponding documentation.
