Gentle to you and the environment around you. Thera is a Slovak sustainable fashion brand for women that makes products by using the upcycling technique. It is the transformation of old products or textile waste into new garments. Thera stands for the less is more policy by making simple and timeless pieces of clothes that highlight the feminine delicacy and uniqueness of each woman. It was in the spring of 2019 when Thera's story began to write or rather to sew. But the idea of bringing to life old pieces of clothes had started to take shape years before. "I have been fascinated by fashion since childhood. But I've never understood why store displays change at such a rapid rate and why people have to keep buying things they don't even need or they are not able to wear out. The seriousness of the fast-fashion situation became more and more interesting to me, and the final entry came in 2019 when I became a self-taught seamstress. In addition to sewing from new fabric, I was much more fascinated by finding beauty in things that no one had seen beauty anymore.
