The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines “Phosphene” as an impression of light that occurs without light actually entering the eye. The Phosphene is an independent online+print magazine committed to highlighting expression and art by the south Asian queer youth. Created out of zest, we aim to give a platform to queer Asian, marginalised community artists of all kinds. It strives towards voice unlearning and free expression.
