The Mulch is the ingenious answer to a problem that is a nuisance to all: food waste. Nobody wants flies and maggots, but going outside to get rid of banana peels, vegetable waste or apple cores every single time is also not achievable. The Mulch is the solution. You can use The Mulch as a hermetically closed container of organical food waste until it is full. And then the magic happens when you turn it on. In about three hours The Mulch heats the waste so it dries. The moisture evaporates and is purified through a triple active carbon filter which makes the complete process odourless. The silent 1000 Watt motor now starts and the slow grinding of the dry material begins. The result is a fertile product that is only 10% of the original waste volume and – because of the heating process – is completely germ free. This dry material can be used to fertilize the plants or can be stored indefinitely without problems. The Mulch exists in two versions: a standing model to use next to the waste bin (The Maxi Mulch) and a handy sink version (The Mini Mulch). The Maxi Mulch has a capacity of 4 liters.
