Overview

The Integrative Oncology Working Group (IOWG) is an international, multi-disciplinary community of cancer care providers committed to advancing best practices in oncology care by combining state-of-the-art conventional therapies with evidence-informed complimentary therapies. As oncologists practicing conventional oncology, we are often asked by our patients for guidance regarding lifestyle changes, nutrition, vitamins/supplements, acupuncture during treatment & in survivorship. For many of us, medical school and our conventional residencies and fellowships did not offer this education. IOWG members are an exclusive international group of oncology care providers with additional training in integrative medicine modalities. Since 2020, we've grown to over 100 contributing members representing 36 US states, 9 international countries. We have an expanding non-member email list. Our diverse membership consists of conventionally trained Medical Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants with additional training/expertise/certification in integrative medicine/integrative oncology. Membership also includes Naturopathic Oncologists, Oncology trained Acupuncturists, Psycho-Oncologists. IOWG provides bi-monthly FREE webinars on a variety of integrative oncology topics. Our webinars are open to all healthcare professionals. Since 2020, IOWG has provided over 40 free webinars. To join the IOWG email list use the following link: https://iowg.myflodesk.com/joinemail.
