Overview

Founded in 2018 after being heavily impacted by the effects of a severe mental health condition, Ebony-Rose Philcox and Allison Evans started The Good Fight as a clothing brand and conversation starter. Their experiences with mental health spans a number of years, but none worse than the eight month period during 2018, in which Ebony almost lost her fight with depression. During this time, Alli made a video thats purpose was to remind Ebony of who she is - a version that she could not see herself. Using old home videos and recent film, the video juxtaposed footage of not only when she was happy, but also her battle with her illness, and contained a vast number of people who love and support her. The video was posted on social media and was widely spread amongst the community. Both were inundated with messages of not only support, but of people reaching out for help - and from that moment on they wanted to make a change. The Good Fight mission is to have a society where mental health is no longer stigmatised. By launching a clothing brand that sparks conversation, and having the profits are donated to funding vital research, the goal is to one day rid the world of mental health conditions. By wearing the apparel it shows that you are a supporter of people with mental health and are there for someone to talk to when they are in need... and sometimes, that is just enough to save a life.
