The SociaLiga is a sports entertainment company that aims to bring people together by creating an ambiance where people can network and enjoy fun activities. The SociaLiga infuses sports and entertainment to create events which cuts across various diverse people and caters to their social needs. The maiden edition of the league which commenced on May 28 and ran till December 18, 2016 had 6 male teams and 4 female teams competing. Other events which complimented the football league included the SociaLiga Foundation Cup, the SociaLympics and the SociaLiga Christmas Festival.
