Overview

Pulse Community is a social enterprise operating across multiple community units in the United Kingdom. We work with individuals aged 13-30 who are unemployed or not in education or vocational training, and individuals who are struggling to improve their quality of life. Our aim is to actively bring positive change to boroughs and areas; especially for young people through the implementation of community mentors. These mentors help to reshape the minds of young people and restructure what have become societal norms within many of these communities. Special focus is given to areas that are deemed ‘disadvantaged.’ Currently, the Pulse Community operates within multiple areas of the UK. Since our launch in September 2015, we have invested over £100,000 into startups and community projects in the UK - all of which are run by individuals aged 13-30 years old. Start ups and small-to-medium enterprises make the most contribution to the UK’s economy and we believe that impact first begins with human development.
