Welcome to the The Polish Red Cross Academic Circle at MUW; a new club here at MUW! We are a chapter of the Polish Red Cross, which is a humanitarian organization that offers services in over 150 countries. Our initiative is to work to prevent and alleviate human suffering. As a member of the club, you will have the opportunity to become CPR & First Aid certified, learn life saving skills, help host blood drives and donate blood, gain leadership opportunities and extend your work outside of MUW, attend fun events and win prizes, and gain volunteer hours! If you want to make a change in your community and are looking for an opportunity to do so, we are the perfect club for you! A volunteer organization and more, geared specifically towards university students just like you and me. It's a given that we volunteer around the community, inclusive of marathons, festivals, food banks, and more. However, there is so much beyond volunteering. Behind the volunteer work lies a passion to make a positive change in the very community we live in and save lives. On top of helping out our community whenever possible, we also host our own events in support of the Polish Red Cross's seven fundamental principles - humanitarianism, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality.
