Overview

At The Music Project, we use music to bring people together to address the physical and mental health problems faced by marginalised communities, such as those living with dementia and learning difficulties. We promote well-being, strengthen communities, and enhance understanding between younger and older generations through our carefully curated intergenerational music programmes, bringing together adults and children of all abilities and ages. On the one hand, this means educating younger generations about the challenges older and marginalised communities face. And on the other, it means alleviating some of the stresses and strains on those suffering with dementia and their carers, or those with learning difficulties, by providing a positive network of support. Our principled, progressive and optimistic approach means one thing - at The Music Project, we use music to transform lives.
