TLRF is a haven for lupus warriors with a goal of bridging the gap between Lupus patients, Rheumatologists, other healthcare providers and the government. TLRF operates in these core areas: a. An emotional, financial and healthcare support group for patients living with Lupus in Nigeria. We will partner with hospitals and laboratories across the nation with the aim of becoming a ready alternative once a new patient is diagnosed. b. Create awareness about Lupus through channels such as social media, articles, research papers, community outreaches, traditional media, online forums, etc. c. Educate the public and healthcare professionals on the symptoms and signs to look out for. We believe that since early detection is key to managing Lupus, we can improve the life expectancy of Lupus patients in Africa d. Fund research to find a cure for Lupus e. Influence health policies that would support the well being of every Lupus patient.
