Overview

The Health Pod is the first dedicated BEMER Vascular Therapy facility in the UK. Our journey with BEMER started in 2016. The company was founded in 1998 and this ground breaking technology has been providing a solution to health and wellness for over 20 years. We have been so inspired by the results and changes in people’s lives that we are compelled to share it to support the future health of our community, helping people one session at a time. This natural therapy is not age specific and is used by over 1 million people in over 40 countries by children, adults and animals. Whether your health is compromised or you are a professional althlete or weekend warrior The Health Pod can help you to relax, repair and recover. Day to day life in our manic, civilised world represents an enormous challenge to our metabolism. Schedules bursting at the seams, city life without room for serenity, the constant worry of balancing the different aspects of our lives are a main cause of our ever-growing mental and physical discomfort. Needless to say, the more efficiently your metabolism performs, the lower the risk of overtaxing your system. The circulation of our blood is the engine that keeps us going - it’s what makes our bodies work. Our blood supplies our tissues and organs with nutrients and oxygen while removing and disposing of resulting waste products. We’re all familiar with the knowledge that our heart pumps blood to our arteries and veins but did you know that 74% of our circulatory system is made up of the smallest of blood vessels which are known as the capillaries. The capillaries surround all of the organs and tissues in our body and are vital to cellular function. These small vessels are multiple times smaller than a human hair and are commonly known as the ‘microcirculation’. Too much stress, too little sleep, an unbalanced diet, unhealthy living habits, disease, and of course aging slow down the pumping action of the microcirculation. This affects the vast majority of people. As a result, blood cells move much too slowly and can no longer adequately fulfil their tasks. Deficient supply to tissues and organs over the long term leads to a decline in physical and mental fitness, pain, disorders and disease.
