The Happy Race is a charitable organization passionate about providing mental health relief in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The past year of uncertain times has led to a significant decline in mental health across Canada. After only six months of the pandemic, 1 in 10 Canadians reported thoughts of suicide and self harm. The Happy Race has two aims. We hope to encourage people of all ages across Canada to get physically active, and we hope to raise our target goal of $5000 to The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
