The Escape Lounge offers two live escape game attractions and we’re the only escape room business in the country that has an escape game designed specifically for children. It’s no secret that our venue was voted Best New Business of the Year in Capitol Hill in 2015, and we continue to be a top choice for team-building, group-outings, field trips and private events. Just this month our escape rooms were featured on Voice of America, and in June The Washington Business Journal shared their team-building experience at The Escape Lounge with their readers. Escape the Oval Office is a 60-minute game that challenges teams to solve a series of clues, riddles, puzzles and trivia that ultimately lead to the key to “escape” the room. It has quickly become a top choice for corporate team-building as well as group outings. In fact, Travel + Leisure says “Escape the Oval Office might be DC’s hottest new attraction” and a recent Boston Globe review calls it “so much fun you might not want out.” It is most definitely popular among tourists seeking DC-themed activities as well as people looking for non-traditional vacation fun. Our local PBS affiliate (WETA) featured The Escape Lounge in its online series, Not That DC for just that reason. Escape the Classroom is a 30-minute experience designed exclusively for children ages five and up. Over the past nine months this game has become a birthday party favorite, ranking among the best party options in the city by KidFriendly DC. It’s also a great attraction for field trips and other student groups as the clues were designed by a local educator with Common Core standards in mind.
