Overview

The purpose of The Boylan Group is to make investments that consistently generate superior absolute risk-adjusted returns over the long-term. We evaluate investment opportunities through applying multi-disciplinary frameworks of analysis in order to achieve an astute and prosperous investment theses. We are motivated by an intense curiosity to identify superior investment opportunities. We realize that our investment opportunities may be contrary to the consensus view. However, it is our belief that our discipline as independent thinkers allows us to identify superior investment opportunities and secure long-term success. We look for and specialize in investing in special situation investments such as but not limited to; special purpose acquisition companies, spin-offs, mergers, tender offers, and other arbitrage opportunities across capital markets. We invest in a broad range of securities and tend to identify long investment opportunities we plan to be involved in for the long term. However we will employ short strategies when opportunities present themselves and for hedging purposes.
