Overview

Headed up by ex-South African cricketer Mark Boucher, The Boucher Legacy was started in 2012 when Mark retired from international cricket and began to focus his passion and commitment on wildlife conservation. The Boucher Legacy focuses on three key pillars: 1. PROSECUTION 2. CONSERVATION 3. EDUCATION FUND RAISING All of our initiatives, from the listing of the rhinos on the database to increasing prosecution rates, to the collaring of rhinos to better understand their movements and the education around the lack of medicinal benefits for rhino horn all come at great levels of investment. The Boucher Legacy has audacious goals but cannot complete our work without donations from you, our reader. Through The Boucher Legacy we aim to raise R10 million in 2019. This money will be used to focus on our core pillars for rhino conservation and help us to begin a journey to save pangolin, rhino and other key species from extinction, as these poor mammals are currently facing decimation. Place our rhino in safe hands. Support us today. #SaveTheRhino
