Overview

The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs is committed to maximizing the potential of children birth to three years of age who are at risk for developmental delay. The Bell Center is an organization who provides early intervention with a holistic approach. Intervention services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology and special education, in which each child is paired with a team of staff from all four disciplines. For more information about programs, please contact Andi Gillen at agillen@thebellcenter.org. The Bell Center is conveniently located in Homewood and was founded by Betty Bell in 1984. The Bell Center works closely with The Service Guild, a group of volunteers who provide support to the organization. The Bell Center is a 501(c)3 non profit organization; families are charged a mild tuition payment and all other annual income is provided by grants, donations, and fund raising events. The Bell Center partners with Mercedes at the annual Mercedes Marathon in downtown Birmingham. Other signature events include the Annual Tailgate Challenge and the Annual Magic City Mile. For more information about these events, contact Kelly Peoples at kpeoples@thebellcenter.org.
