The ARK at JFK is the world’s first privately owned airport animal airport terminal, quarantine and full-service transportation center for the import and export of animals. The ARK at JFK provides pre- and post-travel animal care and veterinary services for pets, horses, birds, livestock and exotic animals. The ARK at JFK is committed to the safe and humane treatment of all animals traveling by air and setting the gold standard in animal handling and transportation. The 24/7 full-service facility offers in-transit kenneling and veterinary services at ARK Pet Oasis, a USDA-approved equine export and livestock facility, a USDA-approved equine import quarantine facility, and an aviary for in-transit birds. Located off of the runway at JFK International Airport in Cargo Area D, The ARK facility is 178,000-SF and sits on 14.4 acres of land.
