The African Ophthalmology Council (AOC) is the supranational ophthalmology body that seeks to bring together all ophthalmologists in sub-Saharan Africa. The AOC seeks to further the cause of eyecare in the continent by fostering collaboration, co-operation and skills transfer between the various member bodies.
