We have a reputation for excellence in makeup education. Our makeup courses teach you the skills and techniques to pursue a career as a professional makeup artist in beauty, fashion, screen, stage and special FX. The Academy For Makeup Artists provides superior instruction in makeup design and application to ensure students are above industry standard upon completing their studies. We pride ourselves on delivering industry leading course content that enables students to be the very best they can be. Our small class sizes ensure each student receives one to one attention and guidance to suit their own specific career goals and personal needs. We invite nationally recognised guest speakers to share valuable insights and information and we provide a wide range of resources to assist with career planning, portfolio presentation, interview preparation and social media marketing. All students past and present are eligible for our amazing work experience program. We partner with other well known schools such as the Whitehouse Institute of Design, AFTRS, UTS and Sydney Film School to offer students work with professional models, up and coming fashion designers and film students. In addition to this we provide advice on gaining work, getting agency representation and starting your own freelance business. Our teachers are hand picked and chosen for their outstanding work as a professioanl makeup artist and their excellent credentials in teaching. We currently provide training in trauma special FX to the Royal Australian Navy medical school and in-house training for staff at various hair and beauty salons throughout NSW.
