Tommy Ga-Ken Wan is a photographer based in Glasgow. At the age of fourteen, his parents gave him a camera and, three years later, his work had been published in national newspapers and magazines, and exhibited in London and the USA. Following a trip to Pakistan funded by the British Council when he was nineteen, and the success of his photo's taken while travelling there, Tommy has worked as a freelance photographer and undertaken a diverse range of projects in cities ranging from Las Vegas to London, Rotterdam to Hong Kong, from photographing Ambassadors and CEO's to working with secondary school pupils to produce an exhibition with the National Theatre of Scotland. He has worked with filmmakers, musicans and writers, and his architectural work commissioned by the University of Glasgow has been exhibited at the National Museum of Scotland.
