Overview

Textiles Engineering and Manufacturing (TEAM) provides woven textiles for the composites industry. TEAM manufactures 2D flat fabrics, 3D woven billets, preforms and fabrics, braided sleeves, and custom designed products. The yarns we use include many kinds of carbon, kevlar, aramids, glass, ceramics, and other composites. TEAM offers complete design services, as well as in-house VARTM and RTM molding and autoclaving using epoxy and phenolic resins. TEAM also provides needling, off-axis stitching, and overbraiding of mandrels and tooling, as well as twisting, serving and traverse winding. TEAM's engineers have over 100 years of experience in weaving and composite yarns. TEAM is certified to ISO-9001 and AS-9100. TEAM serves a wide variety of markets including aerospace, defense, hypersonics, medical, high-pressure canisters, natural gas/fracking, pipes, marine, and sporting goods. TEAM has a modern, 52,000 square foot factory housing over 30 machine lines. They include traditional looms as well as custom designed, computer controlled Jacquard looms (one of which can manipulate up to 17,000 unique ends!), braiders (from 16 to 288 carriers), and a wide variety of support equipment.
