Tecnovia started its activity in the archipelago of Madeira in 1978, with the construction of a road in Porto Moniz, in the north of the island of Madeira. Always with the objective of developing its activity, the company invested in supporting work structures, namely quarries, crushing plants, bituminous plants and ready-mixed concrete, among others. Tecnovia Madeira - Sociedade de Empreitadas S.A founded in 1997, has always been one of the biggest construction companies working in the archipelago of Madeira, contributing to the development of the region through the construction of major public works such as tunnels, bridges, highways, roads, marinas and ports, buildings (schools, hospitals), geotechical works, among others. Tecnovia Madeira has always bet in quality as a means of guaranteeing the satisfaction of it's clients, being a Quality certified Company accordingly to ISO 9001 since 2002. Pursuing its improvement objectives, the company obtained in 2015 the certification in Environmental and Safety and health at Work, in accordance with ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001.
