It took us around 9-months to get our first paying Client as a Web developer. And the money we were paid wasn’t what we hoped for, but we discovered something after we delivered that job. We have the skill of designing websites but we were so broke. We were desperate to get clients which were why our first client gave us what he thinks we were worth and not what we actually deserved. And it was because we were trying hard to get a client so we can finally say goodbye to our brokeness. But the truth of the matter is that… trying hard does not work well for most people, thank God we discovered this on time. We were fed up with being broke and skilful. We wanted freedom from that and the endless rat race. We do not really know how to monetize this skill that we’ve mastered. We do not know what “business of a skill” means. Listen now, let us tell you. Business is all about solving problems for a profit (write this somewhere so you won’t forget). And the only way these two things can happen is when an exchange takes place. This exchange could be transactions, sales, deals, purchases and so on. So the business of any skill you have is when you used it to solve a problem for your client and get paid. Since the day we realized this, the way we’ve been rendering our skills took a turn around and this is what we're teaching you in this company. So we decided to stop trading our time for money and it’s time to earn from what we know by helping businesses, as our skills is a problem solvers. And so, Business of Your Skill is born. Now we teach the business of digital skills online to make a living. We live a happy and stress-free life. The most satisfying part of this work is that we help others a lot.
