Overview

Depression, anxiety, stress, anger, worry, feelings of loneliness, and a constant feel of gloom… As humans, we experience so many emotions. Yet, we only acknowledge that the ‘happy emotions’ are valid, and ignore the rest. Emotions that distress us are often hidden behind in the closet. Tava-Mitram opens the doors to bring emotions out in the open. Yes, no one needs to hide dysfunctional feelings such as anxiety, depression, shame, fear, and other complex emotions. Tava-Mitram is a safe space to explore these emotions, talk, and begin the journey to know oneself. Who are we? We are a Pune-based not-for-profit initiative managed by the Iinner Universe Education Foundation (IIUEF). Our founders, Dr. Paras, and Ekktaa are award-winning coaches of international repute. Tava-Mitram was established on 15th March 2016 to extend these teachings to society for absolutely no cost at all! Tava-Mitram is on a mission to transform lives through group coaching methods. The team works to help the less-fortunate heal themselves to take charge of their lives. This is a non-judgmental platform that raises the capacity of one to think and be solution-oriented. Dr. Paras and Ekktaa use a 6-step process that works to make participants view their lives through different lenses. The teachings are spread in a positive group atmosphere where there is togetherness, care, and compassion among all. Participants learn to heal their emotionally wounded parts while learning to leave the baggage behind, and spread their wings and fly. Most importantly, participants develop a higher self-awareness giving them tremendous knowledge for life. We’ve recently launched the “My Mental Health, My Priority” Campaign. Do visit our website to sign up for a free certification in mental health. Tava-Mitram does not offer emotional or medical advice. We use coaching strategies and offer 6 sessions spread across 3 months. (It’s free!) Join us as a participant or Mitra Coach. Write to info@tavamitram.org
