Overview

Tau Kappa Epsilon (ΤΚΕ or Teke, pronounced T-K-E or Tēk) is a college fraternity founded on January 10, 1899, at Illinois Wesleyan University, with over 230 active chapters in the United States and Canada. The Fraternity has over 272,000 initiated members, and more than 11,200 active collegiate members and 1,600 volunteers. Famous alumni include: U.S. President Ronald Reagan; Founder of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Danny Thomas; Chairman and CEO of Starbucks, Howard Schultz; Founder of Hilton Hotels, Conrad Hilton, and many, many more.
