We're a cafe and sandwich shop serving good quality food to eat in or take away in the heart of Holbeck's Urban Village. Taste was born out of a desire to make eating well quick, easy and convenient for those who live, work and visit the local area. Good, honest food should be a consistent part of your working week - without compromising on time or quality. So, we take the very best of local ingredients and make fresh, exciting food for you to eat in or takeaway, every day. Busy lives mean our time is precious. That's why we champion a warm welcome, speedy service and quality in absolutely everything we do. _____ So often now, eating fast is associated with poor quality and exploitative practices. And this is exactly what we've set out to challenge. Our food is made fresh from locally sources ingredients and suppliers, and we pay a lovely team well above the living wage to bring it to you. Wherever possible, we use responsible packaging and ethical products, and we waste as little as possible. As a team of individuals who live and work in Leeds and Holbeck, giving back to our local community is incredibly important.
