Overview

Taaluma is a nonprofit organization registered and operating in the US. The name Taaluma is a Swahili word meaning education and culture. Our mission is to help families become self-sufficient so they can feed and educate their children and to help our partners spread their know-how to local communities. To do this we create aquaponics systems and training centers. We also create sack & container gardens and do training throughout Ghana and Togo. Our Priorities are: * Help people feed themselves and their families. * Provide women with a means to support their families through alternative gardening methods. * Prevent child slavery. * Educate and care for underprivileged children. * Create jobs and work toward protecting the environment.
