The Syrian International Private University for Science and Technology was created by Republican Decree No. 339 dated 7/8/2005, and its name was later modified to become the Syrian Private University, according to Republican Decree No. 343 dated 9/24/2012. The Syrian Private University grants a certificate in the following majors: 1- Medicine 2- Dentistry 3- Pharmacy 4- Informatics Engineering 5- Petroleum Engineering 6- Administrative Sciences
