Overview

Sustainable Israeli Palestinian Projects is a non-profit organization (501c3) whose mission is to support projects that engage Israeli and Palestinian communities working to further common environmental and other interests and to build meaningful connections between people in the United States and Israeli and Palestinian communities involved in these efforts. Current projects include mini-grants, recycling efforts to address open burning of electronic waste in Palestine, the decontamination of cisterns at the Mar Saba Monastery, the support of an environmental education center in the West Bank, Civil Society-Building Projects including the teaching and exchanging of Arabic and Hebrew between both sides of the conflicts and the promotion of skills of Bedouin women in the Ramat HaNegev Regional Council, and many more peacebuilding and environmental projects.
