Surge helps both hosts and guests create and attend private social events while having input on the music playlist. When hosts want to create an event, they can invite guests through Surge or any other social media platform. The host will then have an updated guestlist accessible directly through Surge. Before the event, hosts and guests will have the possibility to upload their favorite playlist extracted from any music streaming service that they are using. Based on all uploaded playlists, an algorithm will then create a unique playlist for that specific event after carefully selecting and ranking songs to be able to play the right song at the right time based on metrics such as mood, beats, energy, etc.
