Sudamérica Rugby is the game's governing body in Central and South America. It is the umbrella organisation for 15 national rugby associations across the continent. It was formed in 1989 to promote, develop, organise and administer the game of rugby in Central and South America under the authority of World Rugby (the world governing body of rugby union).
