Studio MVW is an renowned design studio founded by Virginie Moriette and Xu Ming. Virginie was a trained in France as an architect, Xu Ming grew up in China and graduated as a designer from ESAG Penningen, Paris-France. They met while they were working for Paul Andreu/ADPi and have been working together for over 10 years in their Shanghai studio recently renamed from Design MVW to Studio MVW. Their skills within architecture, interior and furniture seduce luxury groups and connoisseurs and lovers of exclusive design where beautiful materials are crafted with comfort and elegance. Ming and Virginie bring together different backgrounds in their work. Taking inspiration from natural forms and materials, Studio MVW incorporates Chinese elements into today’s global lifestyle, creatively balancing function and aesthetics in unique and inventive ways.
