Overview

Archaeopteryx is a study association about birds and exotic animals. It is based at the faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Utrecht, the Netherlands. For over 25 years we organize various activities regarding all aspects of exotic animals. These activities are mainly organized by 5 different working groups: wildlife, terrarium, birds, aquafauna and KKF (Dutch for rabbits, rodents and ferrets). By now Archaeopteryx has grown to an association with almost 1300 members consisting of veterinarians, veterinary students and other interested parties. We are always looking for enthusiastic speakers or good ideas to organize activities in our course. Do you have a good tip or a fun idea? Don't hesitate to send us a message!
