Overview

Strategic Partnership Institute is a non-profit non-governmental organization aimed at the social integration of people of different races, cultures, sexual orientations and religions. They are often enduring intolerance, verbal abuse & harassment, which results in decreasing their self-esteem & eventually their exclusion from the society in Poland. The organization believes that the key to welfare, stability, democracy, and tolerance is the successful integration of all the social and ethnic groups into society. Even though the organization is itself young, it has simply united experienced professionals working in the sphere of euro-integration and volunteers from all Poland. The group aims to prepare the Polish youth to succeed in the modern professional world, as well as become socially active in volunteering initiatives. This is done by organizing various formal and informal trainings and workshops. The key topics that we concentrate now are: (1) refugee and minority integration; (2) tackling discrimination; (3) ensuring social integration of disadvantaged groups and minorities and (4) spreading the No Hate Speech Movement in Poland and abroad. We also conduct researches on social topics and share this knowledge with the youngsters. Most of the time, research focuses on Hate Speech cases in Europe, as well as the current refugee crisis. With such research, we increase awareness about discrimination cases and human rights abuses to youth and the general public. At the same time, the group members are making victim rights training to help youth tackle hate speech in their setting.
