Overview
The Delaware Criminal Justice Council is the State Administering Agency of multiple federal grant programs that will enhance the criminal justice system in Delaware. As the State Administering Agency of several federal grant programs, the Criminal Justice Council is responsible for assuring that subrecipients (subgrantees) also comply with all of the applicable Federal civil rights laws, including the requirements of developing and submitting an EEOP, reporting Findings of Discrimination, and providing language services to LEP persons. The efforts of the CJC Staff are heavily focused on research, planning, evidence-based programming, training, technical-assistance, outreach and supportive services to justice-related programs implemented in the State of Delaware. The Delaware Criminal Justice Council is an independent body committed to leading the criminal justice system through a collaborative approach that calls upon the experience and creativity of the Council, all components of the criminal justice system and the community. We continually strive for an effective system which is fair, efficient and accountable.
