The SRH Berufsbildungswerk Sachsen is a private education and rehabilitation company that offers school training for elementary, secondary and high school students as well as vocational preparation and training for young people with disabilities and professional training for people with mental illnesses. Under its main brand, the SRH Berufsbildungswerk Sachsen comprises the business areas SRH Schools Dresden, the SRH Berufsbildungswerk Dresden with its branch in Cottbus and the SRH professional training centers with locations in Dresden, Bautzen, Cottbus, Leipzig and Rostock. The SRH Vocational Training Center Saxony has around 330 employees and looks after over 1,500 customers. The SRH Schools Dresden division comprises three independent schools: the SRH Montessori Primary School in Dresden-Leuben, the SRH Oberschule and the SRH Vocational High School in Dresden-Lockwitz. In the SRH Berufsbildungswerk Dresden, young people with health impairments receive state-recognized training. There are currently 16 professions to choose from. If necessary, the trainees are supported by psychologists, doctors, therapists and social workers. In the branch in Cottbus, trainees can train with experienced trainers from the Brandenburg Disabled Sports Association parallel to their vocational training. The common goal is a dual career on the job and in disabled sports. In the SRH vocational training centers, people are supported in finding new professional prospects after a mental illness. A team of professional trainers and psychosocial employees helps with professional reorientation or the start of an apprenticeship or retraining.
