SpazioFuturo S.r.l. focuses on high resolution weather observation and forecast. Through proprietary and innovative algorithms purposely carried out to elaborate data from satellite constellations, SpazioFuturo developed EMMA (European MicroMeteorology for Aircraft) system. Based on EMMA, the Italian company markets the app GABBIANO, designed to provide pilots with weather information for their trips: before take-off, pilots can optimize flight plans according to the atmospheric condition forecasts along the route; while in flight, when the land data connection is not enough anymore, pilots can benefit of real time condition updates via a small portable satellite system developed by SpazioFuturo and its partners. Thanks to EMMA, SpazioFuturo S.r.l. offers also services for environmental and climate micrometereology, supporting green-economy projects, wind farms, agricolture and tourism sectors.
