FOLLOW US ALSO HERE 👉www.spark-bih.de 👉www.linkedin.com/in/spark-bih 👉www.linkedin.com/company/sparking-europe ---------------------------------------- The SPARK-BIH program was founded in 2015 by Prof. Craig Garner and Prof. Ulrich Dirnagl at the Charité University Hospital in Berlin and is based on the successful SPARK program developed at Stanford University. In January 2020, PD Dr. Karoline Krause and Prof. Franz Theuring started as new directors of the SPARK-BIH program in Berlin. SPARK-BIH supports translational projects from Charité and BIH scientists as well as clinicians at all career levels. The program helps to accelerate and validate scientific inventions for drug development (small molecule, biologics, ATMP, gene therapy), medical devices and diagnostics from all medical fields and their translation into therapies, products and services that benefit patients. The program empowers project teams to overcome translational hurdles through Education, Mentoring, Funding & Entrepreneurship support. SPARK’s greatest asset is the community of dedicated, experienced volunteers from industry and academia, who help to de-risk and guide SPARK projects through their development. Come and join our international SPARK network! ---------------------------------------- We are extremely thankful for the voluntary support of our advisors from industry & academia, and our sponsors: Berlin Institute of Health at Charité (BIH), Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Stiftung Charité, Helmholtz Association, EBD Group and NeuroCure. ----------------------------------------
