Located 45 minutes north of New Orleans in the quaint town of Covington, the Southern Hotel’s vaunted history of hospitality began in 1907. In addition to its 42 guest rooms, the Southern Hotel will feature a 2,400-sq. ft. ballroom that can be configured for meetings, conferences and special events. A restaurant, upscale bar, spa treatment and fitness rooms round out the luxurious amenities. The boutique property is expected to open in late 2013.
