Overview

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are regulated healthcare professionals who are trained to help children and adults with communication disorders. We provide speech and language services to clients of all ages, from preschool-aged children to adults. Our therapists partner with clients and their families to help them achieve their functional communication goals. We assess and treat a variety of communication areas and serve clients in K-W & the surrounding regions. Our therapists can help to (re)build:  Speaking (using clear speech and voice, finding correct words, presenting ideas clearly, etc.)  Listening (following conversations, lectures, radio, t.v. shows, etc.)  Reading (understanding letters, reports, emails, books, magazines, etc.)  Writing (writing notes, reports, emails, essays, etc.)  Social skills (turn-taking, eye contact, intonation, facial expression, etc.)  Cognitive skills (organization, memory, problem-solving, attention, etc.)  Safe Swallowing
