We are a fashion house specializing in the creation of exquisite exotic leather pieces for both men an women. When the forefathers of Sophia Sangani arrived on the shores of Southern Africa in 1883, their acumen as skilled tradesmen weathered the turbulent and sometimes violent history of the land. Whilst South Africa was fast gaining international acclaim for the magnificent diamonds its prolific mines produced, the House of Sangani coloured the landscape by importing vessels from the orient – laden with delicate silks, fine cottons and exotic embroidery. The family played an essential role in helping to create and define what is today a vibrant and uniquely South African culture. Today, the fashion enterprise has grown into a global textiles conglomerate, whose patronage has cultivated the birth of Sophia Sangani.
