Son Bunyola is Sir Richard Branson’s Mallorcan retreat covering 810 acres of stunning landscape on the northwest coast of the Balearic Islands. The vast estate includes three villas available for exclusive use bookings, Sa Punta de S’Aguila, Sa Terra Rotja and Son Balagueret. Central to the estate is a large historic manor house, or ‘finca’, dating from the 1800s. Terracing surrounds the manor house with vines, citrus fruit trees, almonds and hundreds of olive trees. It forms an incredible centre piece to the dramatic scenery. The building is currently being lovingly developed into the Son Bunyola Hotel. Opening in June 2023, the hotel will join the three existing villas on the 1,000 acre Son Bunyola estate. The hotel will retain all of the original features and will comprise of the main Finca, dating back to the 1500's, the Tafona, containing the historic olive press, and several annexe buildings. The hotel will feature 26 stunning rooms and suites, two restaurants, spa treatment rooms, exceptional mountain and sea views, and a historic terrace that will be home to the pool.
