Created in 2011, SEM aims to facilitate the management of Gabon’s mineral resources. SEM, State-owned but privately managed, is responsible for: Managing the shareholdings of the States in the mining sector Developing, alone or in partnership, any mining related project in Gabon Expanding and developing strategic mineral resources within and outside of Gabon.
