 Monitor and analyze social issues and needs, critique existing social policy and formulate new policy options for consideration  Evaluate existing social policies, programs and services  Conceptualize, design and implement plans based on research and consultation in accordance with the policies and priorities established by the Board of Directors and committee members  Facilitate the marketing of strategic priorities utilizing research and analysis developed through publications, workshops, consultations and presentations;
