Managed and conducted affairs of the district, which included fire suppression services, hazardous materials responses and emergency medical services. Made and executed all necessary contracts included but not limited to mutual and automatic aid agreements, ambulance billing, dispatching, maintenance agreements, snow removal, and personnel contracts. o Worked with the U.S. Congress to acquire land at no cost to the district for a new fire station. o Awarded a $4 million grant for construction of a new fire station. o Appointed to Governor’s Emergency Medical Services Trauma Council. o Developed positive relationships with County, State, and Federal Elected Officials. o Improved fiscal responsibility of the department.
